Principal's Message

Welcome To Oak Hill Elementary School!

Principal MarksGreetings Oak Hill Elementary School Family,

A warm Eagle’s Welcome to the 2021-22 School Year! I am thrilled to welcome all of our students and families back to school. It is a privilege to serve as principal of such an outstanding and supportive school community. In efforts to align our goals with the Superintendent’s Strategic Plan, our theme this year is “IGNITE: Inspiring Growth through Nurturing, Innovation, Transformation and Engagement.” We will continue to provide a rigorous learning environment while implementing best practices in academics, health and safety.

We are proud of our beautiful school and have high expectations for each and every student. A stronger emphasis will be placed on social emotional learning embedded within our academic programming. Our students are kind, compassionate and inquisitive. Together with our dedicated staff, we strive to make connections with students to help them feel valued, accepted and safe.

Student success is based on a partnership that is built between home and school. We appreciate the support you provide to your children at home to help them meet their learning goals. Please stay connected and informed by visiting our school website, connect to Class DOJO and attend our parent engagement learning opportunities. Please join PTA, SAC and/or become a school volunteer through our ADDitions program. With your support, we will ensure that every Oak Hill Elementary student has a promising and successful future.

We are privileged to have you as a part of the Oak Hill family. Thank you for your support and we look forward to an “A”mazing year.

Cicely P. Marks, Ed.S
